Custom domain and booking website

Publish your gym website with your own brand, domain, classes, trials and membership forms powered by Gymtria.

Plan availability

  • Custom domains are enabled only on the top plan. In Gymtria’s current plan structure that plan is Enterprise.

  • The capability is controlled by the custom_domains entitlement, so a future plan rename does not require changing the logic.

What your domain publishes

  • Your complete public profile: identity, photos, locations, services, plans, promotions, trainers, classes, schedules and policies.

  • Visitors can send inquiries, request a trial, request a membership and submit class booking requests when spots are available.

  • The domain keeps working even if you hide the gym from Gymtria’s global marketplace.

Connect the domain

    Open Settings → Custom domain and enter the domain without https:// or paths.

    Copy exactly the A record for @, the CNAME for www and the _gymtria-verify TXT shown by Gymtria.

  3. 3

    Wait for propagation and press Verify. Gymtria automatically registers apex and www in Dokploy and requests HTTPS.

  4. 4

    When HTTPS is active, the domain becomes the gym’s canonical URL.

Common providers in Uruguay

  • NIC.UY / SeCIU: check nameservers first; edit the zone in NIC only when DNS is hosted there.

  • ANTEL / Dominios UY: add A, CNAME and TXT without deleting email records.

  • NetGate, Montevideo COMM, Intersys, Netuy, Hosting Montevideo and HostingenlaWeb / RegistraTu.UY: if you do not have a DNS editor, send support the exact type, name and value shown by Gymtria.

  • Cloudflare: during initial verification keep A and CNAME as DNS only (gray cloud). TXT records are never proxied.

Do not break domain email

  • Do not change nameservers just to connect Gymtria.

  • Keep existing MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.

  • Gymtria only needs the web A/CNAME records and ownership TXT shown in the dashboard.

Common problems

  • If @ works but www does not, verification stays pending: both hosts must point correctly.

  • If the apex still has an AAAA from an old host, IPv6 clients may reach the old site; remove that AAAA.

  • If DNS verifies but HTTPS remains pending and CAA exists, make sure letsencrypt.org is authorized.

SEO and automatic discovery

  • Your domain gets its own canonical, OpenGraph/Twitter, branded favicon, HealthClub/SportsActivityLocation JSON-LD and independent sitemap.xml.

  • The individual gym page is removed from Gymtria’s global sitemap to avoid duplicate content while still contributing to aggregate city and activity pages.

  • The domain also publishes llms.txt, llms-full.txt and a text/markdown representation for AI-powered search and assistants.
